By teaching and nurturing hands-on trade skills, academic learning and a Biblical based relationship with Jesus Christ, leadership skills are developing and transformational life changes are taking place in the lives of those we serve.  The artisans are growing in confidence and experiencing encouragement as they step out and envision a different future for themselves and the ones they care for.

ReycloCraftz is making an educational, economic and eternal difference in the lives of impoverished, widowed, unemployed and orphaned women, men, youth and children in Zambia.

The project began in 2008 with the stirring of God in the lives of the Zambian people in Lusaka and across Zambia. It’s a healthy alternative and productive channel for our artisans (young and old) to raise money, empower themselves, and achieve their personal and educational goals. The artisans carefully create each of our handmade articles using recycled materials from their everyday life:

  • damaged fabric & fabric scraps
  • old and damaged clothing
  • cardboard boxes
  • magazine pages and sale fliers
  • VCR tapes
  • plastic grocery bags
  • wire
  • wood

The RecycloCraftz project is now 10 years old. This budding international entrepreneurship initiative has led to the development of a skilled trade school in Lusaka, Zambia, thanks to the perseverance and support from many different communities and the efforts of all those involved.
